Is your desk on the small side?   There are plenty of items out there to help.  Consider keeping files you use daily in a Fold And Roll Cart that you tuck under your desk when you’re done. Or a Mahogany Desk Top Organizer to go vertical with your desktop files.

Guest Room Organization:

If offering actual dresser drawer space makes you nervous consider using a folding luggage rack to accommodate the occasional guest.
